Message from the President
This is an exciting era in the address confidentiality program community. After almost three decades of growth in popularity, a number of states with address confidentiality programs made the decision together to formalize as a group. In 2016 we launched the National Association of Confidential Address Programs, otherwise known as NACAP. Together we will identify common needs, establish best practices, lean on one another’s expertise, share knowledge, raise the profile of the address confidentiality program community to the national level, and become stronger while appreciating the independence of each state’s program. Every status quo-changing mechanism has a beginning and ours is now. There is no looking back. There is only looking forward. Together, we will become stronger and find a national voice. I urge every member state to get involved and become an active part of these efforts. I have nothing but hope for NACAP’s future and anticipation for the good things we will accomplish together!

Dianna Umidon
NACAP President
Director of Safe at Home
Office of Minnesota Secretary of State, Steve Simon
